Default Transmission Oil Capacity

Gentlemen,
just quick question, I bought the transmission ATF+4 Oil (2 Gal.) and the filter and i want to change my Durango 5.9L 2003 SLT 4X4 transmission oil...the question is how much does it take?

some body told me 6 Letters.

pls advise.

Should be 5 quarts.

5 quarts. that means around 5.5 liters which i have already added.

No problem.

To check your fluid level;

To do this you must run the vehicle for at least 15 minutes, place the shifter in all area's one at a time for 5 seconds each from park all the way down to low 1, then all the way back up to park, 5 seconds in each gear then slowly return it to the neutral position, engage the parking brake, then check the fluid level while the D is running. You will need to wipe and check it a couple of times to get the actual level.
