It's in the steering wheel hub. You have to pull the steering wheel so you better know what you're doing so you don't blow your air bag. If you take it somewhere, you better make sure THEY know what they're doing as well.

It's near the clock.... the clock spring.

Also, perhaps a better... hell ANY... detail in the name of the thread will get you more than 2 real responses. Any thread with the title like this needs to be, and often is, ignored.

Howdy Indy
Well taken from his posts he has a 99. then again he has an underpowered 4.7 he wanted to swap with a 5.9. Then within the month he did a heatercore.
DETAILS BUDDY, DETAILS.....

umm 4.7 wasnt offered in 99 and how do you figure the 4.7 is underpowered(unless your comparing it to the 5.9, then maybe)? it runs just fine in these trucks

Guys, does it really matter what year or engine he has? Wouldn't the answer still be the same to that question? In fact, wouldn't it be the same on almost any forum for almost any car?

well year matters because some of the controls changed btwn years so there that part matters engine, maybe not but the options availalbe could also play a role

Steeting wheel controls AND horn not working almost always = bad clock spring.

It doesn't matter what options are on the vehicle. This would still be the answer.
