Is it possible to run dual exhaust on a 98 durango? if so how would i go about doing it? cheap and easy or will it be costly and time consuming

IIRC there is a magnaflow dual exhaust setup but you have to remove the spare. I believe that your best bet is to go to a muffler shop and have them bend your pipes. They can make it work around the spare. It can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be. Headers back you'll be spending a lot of money, a cat back is your middle ground and pipes and 2 mufflers would be cheapest. I personally just slapped a Flowmaster 40 in there and called it good (for now).

True dual exhaust or just two pipes coming out of the one muffler?

I orig bought a kit, Flowmaster American Thunder40's, which came stock size to some dual 2"+ piping out it was okay, i'd rather buy my own muffler next time and have 3"s out but it'd be too loud.. I've still got this system if ya wanna buy a exhaust haha.
flow 40's to dual
Never liked the chrome tips

I opted no spare

Is true dual even possible since they only have one cat? Wouldn't that mess with the computer system? At least that's what I was what I thought and what my friend told me.
