HI...did the TPS last week and the surging is gone....high shifts are still here though.

It's almost always after I've been on the highway for an hour or two then I'll have to stop for a light or turn and it won't shift until 3500 rpm through the gears.

had a problem with that with my '01 durango about six months ago. thought my overdrive was going in and out cause when i hit overdrive it usually jumps about 500 rpm. took it to the shop and they tuned up the engine, did a fuel injection service and changed the spark plugs and the rpm fluctuations stopped after that.
