SAS- Soft And Sexy

xD

You'll be looking for a driverside drop/ appropriate wms dana 44 or dana 60 front end preferably Kingpin if you want the better, you can find plenty (44) under $1000 real easy and pleanty D60 for above $1000, it all depends on the seller and condition of the axle -Most will say that the axle will need to be ran through- Attached perchs' shaved tubes etc etc.

Im going 78-79 d44 d60 from a ford front end then run some aftermarket radius arms ( http://www.jamesduff.com/eb/suspension.html ) maybe a few selective shocks with long travel air bags...

go d60 front, you won't regret when you start breaking d44 parts.

also, leafs or link/radius or whatever, all of them work. but finding a good axle is hard. 79 f-350 front is the best possible axle for 4x4ing.

I paid 1400 for mine, and they are highly sought after. But sometimes you can find a deal on one, and maybe with the gears you want too. I went with 5.38 gears. Check pirate4x4 out and look in the classifieds for a d60 front.

He seemed to be on a short budget thats why i mentioned 44, if i could get a RTR d60 for $1400 i'd blow a gasket. Everytime im on pirate Cali is my sources, too bad none of the guys will share with shipping to some of us easterners xD

5.38 gears? you must be going all out xD
