Tires: all three are good. I've had dueler revos, and they were awesome. They were loud as heck, but they lasted a LONG time. (80k on my d). Right now I am on a set of bfg at/ko's, and they are great! They are quiet and smooth, but they seem to wear fast. I have also had a set of geo's. They were great as well, but they were loud also. I am an avid sportsman, so sometimes I put my truck in places it shouldn't be, but all three of these tires seem to be aggressive enough to get me out of trouble. Just stay away from the wal-mart brand tracker 2. They lasted about 20k, and I got stuck in my own drive way all the time.

Oil consumption: I experienced the same thing around 100k in my d. all you have to do is run a pint of "restore" though the oil. It is an oil additive that comes in a silver can, and is sold every where. After adding a can of restore to my 4.7l, it stopped burring oil. Now I don't burn a drop between changes except when pulling. I have 181k on my d and I haven’t had a problem since.
