Speaking of down shifting if I have to stop sooner that expected I put it in neutral because the tranny still pushes while braking. Stops are way way shorter than normal when done in this manner.
The ABS under 10 MPH disengages the rear wheels under light brake stopping.
Basically, the rear wheels have the opportunity to still turn. Now the older versions allowed even more power to go to the rear wheels but they did do a better job with the D.
Now I haven't had as much problems with this because I fixed a OEM failure on the brake shoes and the rear wheels stop as normal. I just don't know if this is a on going problem or if they did do mostly away with this problem?????????
i have those tires to i broke my transfer case so i no longer have 4x4 but i havent been stuck yet i live on longisland so the deepest snow weve gotten was about 4 inches in the last few years but the ice is serious i love the tires and highly recommend them
