I have the Firestone Destination A/T's and we got 7+ inches of snow and ice today and I didnt slip ONCE doing 40-45. when coming to a stop apply little break let off and a little, etc.... Also downshifting helps.

Speaking of down shifting if I have to stop sooner that expected I put it in neutral because the tranny still pushes while braking. Stops are way way shorter than normal when done in this manner.

The ABS under 10 MPH disengages the rear wheels under light brake stopping.
Basically, the rear wheels have the opportunity to still turn. Now the older versions allowed even more power to go to the rear wheels but they did do a better job with the D.

Now I haven't had as much problems with this because I fixed a OEM failure on the brake shoes and the rear wheels stop as normal. I just don't know if this is a on going problem or if they did do mostly away with this problem?????????

PS. I like to slide all over in the snow as well!

Dro you should just add that smiley to your sig. It would save you time.

Downshifting is a huge help when trying to slow down.
