2000 Durango R/T with the Infinity sound system and atleast 2 door speakers are blown.

Anyone know a good website to purchase new speakers for all 4 doors?

www.crutchfield.com

You should be able to repair them for a lot less though. Search for "speaker repair" on the site.

If you like to stick to the Infinity brand, they have a perfect OEM replacement model. Infinity Reference series 6022's.

Cheapest place to purchase it.

http://www.hookedontronics.com/show_...eference+6022i

They offer free s/h and also if you are a googler, you can apply a coupon code Z51012807515 and get another few percent off.

Not too bad but do they make a great speaker in a 2 way with some half way good bass hits and good mid range in another brand maybe??????

The tweets can hit the high notes but need to know what ones?????

I am going to buy all new speakers and don't care about the Infinity name but more a good package. In fact I like the sound of Pioneer a lot better.

I like the deck and it looks good and as long as I can crank it to **** off the neighbors who cares right?.......LOL

If I was going to rank great sounding car audio speakers it would be like this..
1.Focal
2.Polk
3.JL audio

For the price you can't beat the sound of focal... Polk and JL will match but usually cost more before you get to the models with great sound.

http://www.polkaudio.com/

http://www.jlaudio.com/

Pioneer would be lower on the list...
Infinity would be even lower then that...

Ya but I'm cranking **** like Slayer and some and into hard melody type hard metal. It has to have a good rebound on the cone for the next hit not to mention a real good mid range like I was saying. Pioneer has always sounded great for my type.

Hey I am a metal head as well... matter of fact I am listening to some old school Pantera right now..

Trust me man if you can afford to spend just a little more Focal is what you want.. I would not lie to ya.. Go visit a store that has them listen to them and compare... you then will know what I am trying to tell ya.. its all there in the speakers.. low mid and high all....

I am not into the rap and try to make everybody here my base for a mile... I want CLEAR audio and thats what Focal will give you.

Don't get me wrong I am not knocking pioneer at all, just saying if you have a few extra bucks to spend it is well worth the step up to Focal (cheapest focal set is $99 then they have a $150 ish I recommend starting here, then they have a $$250-350 and on up till your totally broke and taking out a mortgage on the house to buy speakers)
