[:@] I don't want to have to pay to have an aftermarket head uit installed in my 2000 Durango 4x4. How do I go by taking it out?

I just put a radio in my 2000 Durango. To get the old head unit out I just pulled the front of the dash off (snaps in) and removed the 2 bolts holding the unit in, unpluged it and thats it.

Trim kit wire harnessand make sure you connect the ground from the aftermarket to the ground strap on the chasis

depending on the unit you might have to run a new ground.(if so run it under the dash)
