Default one more lift question

what are the weakest parts on durangos ifs that will break when i have 35s on the dango but all i want to do is go muddin but it some times takes some serious wheelin to get to the mud. also has anyone checked out the advan-tech at dana.com from wat i under stand it could greatly improve the ds front end

The issue i had was when one tire caught traction in a really rouch section (33" tires) it just broke the case. Then again i only play rough with the brake being rarely used. I'd say the most common weak point is the case itself. Im not saying that with 35"s once you go mudding the d will fall apart, but that its a possibility. Ive beat my D fairly well (33"s) and she has taken the abuse for the most part.

Running 35"s is completely your decision. If it was me in the mud i'd stick with 33"s on stock rims with the body/ts lift... You cant put a locker in our front ends...

Ive seen the Advan systems, they do seem promising but only in a new vehicle. The price alone to purchase/custom fab install would out do the cost of the d to begin with.
