Default volume control on stereo

I have a 2002 Durango and the volume control on the stereo stopped working. The steering wheel controls work fine, though. Anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong or if you've had this problem, how did you fix it?

Thanks.

Dave

It sounds like you'll just need a new deck.

Thanks guys. Should I look for a new deck on ebay or are there other places I can look?

I would personally look into aftermarket now that this is shot. OEM decks are overpriced and don't do as well as aftermarket.

Are there any aftermarket decks that can still use the steering wheel controls?

I'm not sure of anything that will do it out of the box but there are harnesses that you can buy that will allow this function.
