go the hardware store and get a can of silicone lubricant, spray it on a rag, and wipe the silicon on the gasket int he doorjams it will keep the ice from sticking and holding the door closed

As a back up (since my truck always gets wet -playing too much- and freezes up) i keep a container of window washer fluid (prestone de-icer type) handy to pour if i am ever in a froze situation. I mainly keep it handy because of my impaitience (and non heated mirrors) for scraping/defrosting ice...

poor durango indeed. and how did you manage to dent the door with yur fists??? i hit a fire hydrant once and theres barely a dent in mine.
