Default New guy with 02 Durango

Hello everyone. I Just signed into this forum and wouldn't you know it, I have a question. I just got my hands on a 2002 Durango SLT with 20,000 miles. YES, this is not a type oh!! Couldn't pass it up. This truck is in great condition. Anyway, It didn't come with an owners manuel I was able to figure out how to make the doors NOT lock by themselves when I start driving, but I can't figure out how to reprogram it so the headlights don't come on after I hit the unlock button on the key fob. I'm looking foward to being part of this forum and after I wash and detail my new ride, I'll post up some pictures. Thanks

If your headlights are coming on when you unlock the D it sounds like a CTM issue unless the newer D's were supposed to do that?

Since I'm a newbie, I don't know what CTM issues are. But I had a 06 Jeep grand cherokee and It did the same thing, but in the jeep there was a program button on the dash that allowed you to control certain functions like interior lights, headlights and horn activation when I pressed the unlock button on the key fob. There must be a way to do this on the D.

mean green the headlights do flash when you lock it (at least my 02 does ) and the horn honks/lights flash when you lock it that is standard no problems with the ctm i promise

and it turns out my manual is missing i leave it at home with my truck in case the rents needed it and they go and lose the damn thing on me this is why i dont let other people drive my truck, i guess the keys are coming with me when i go back to campus :/

Yeah my horn only honks when I arm the alarm. Nothing when I unlock it though.
