Default 1999 steering wheel remote switches

My channel up/down remote switch on the steering wheel broke and I need a new one. The old part number doesn't seem to be valid anymore. (04685632AA) I just got my SWI-JACK in today and RIGHT before I went to go install it, the switch broke... DAMMIT! Anyone know where I can get a new one? Tried eBay, etc and cannot find it...

It's not a junkyard part LOL! I tried three different vehicles and broke each one trying to take them out... Dealer had one in stock for $25...

You should have broken the steering wheel instead. that's the beauty of going to a junkyard, if you have to break parts to get at what you really want it doesn't matter.

I was ALMOST thinking of upgrading to a newer Durango steering wheel... I think it would be sort of fun to have one... But that would be more work and wiring than I want right now...

Anything can WORK, it would just but too much fabricating and whatnot... Again, I am not up for that... My buddy at a machine shop could make the adapter and I could modify the switches to act like the old ones... I couldn't care about the airbag either... I just don't want to spend the money for it nor put the time into it just yet... If I DO do it, I will post up results and a how to...

Forget all that. I read through a thread a while back about somebody taking the dash out of a wrecked 01' and putting it into his 00'. I couldn't believe he even bothered with it even though I do like the 01-03 interior much more. It took him months of work but he definitely did it right.
