I doubt it's a troll to have signed up in nov of 07 and this be their 1st post.

140 amp fuse=blew?They have a fuse that big on d's?Sounds like a dead short in the wiring from the alternator to driverside fuse block=check for a melted grounded out wire before ya replace that fuse or fusible link ,which ever it is or ypu may burn up the wiring and the truck.
