Default can someone please help!

Hi im kinda new to the site, i have a 98 durango with a 5.9l. my D has no power what so ever. i blew the 140 amp alternator fuse and a bunch of other fuses. when i try to replace them they blow instantly, Can anyone point me in the right direction. THanks for any help in advance. Rockman

If you have a DVM (digital volt meter) take the leads off the battery and the lead off of the alternator. Then I would try to find any short circuits in the cable from the battery to the alternator... As by a bunch of other fuses, which ones specifically? Might also have some bad grounds or battery contacts...

Do they blow with the key off or the key on?

Also, when you say no power, is that electrical power or engine power?

What is your voltage gauge reading while off and running? I am going to say that the voltage regulator may be one it's way out... Or a short in the alternator to battery cable...
