I have an 03 durango with the 4.7, I am hearing a clatter when I start it, it sounds like a top end noise but is very hard to tell. Has anyone else had this so I can know where to look? Also does the crade of oil matter. I do use nothing but valvoline but I am unsure what grade to use. I will probably have that figured out as I am going to look it up now. Thanks Chris

 

Problem could be the timing chain guides, If you have high mileage. 80 to 100k
