It is awesome in the snow! The R/T's are the best looking, best performing Durangos out there (in my humble opinion). You just know when you see them, the body, interior, wheels and that unmistakable 5.9 rumble is all to sweet. I have a 2003 model and I have had absolutley NO problems, great running truck! Good Luck.

I am with you on that, nice trucks. Mine is kinda uniique around my area not too many Atlantic Blue ones. I just got a polished aluminum Billet gas door havent installed it yet waiting for some warm weather and just ordered some clear corner and front blinker lights also a chrome grill.......i like the look better than the same colour, besides I am old school and love chrome. It's gonna look sweet when I am done. I want supercharge it and put some headers and duals but I have to find out about how that will affect my bi yearly emissions test. I know I will have to put two cats on it, kinda defeats the purpose of headers......maybe I will just go duals. I do love the sound the OEM exhaust makes though sounds sweet. I would like to but a brushed aluminum cover just in the area of the radio and heater but can't find a company that will sell just that part....they will but I have to pay for a whole kit.

I just bought an 02 Black on black and grey R/T. This is the fastest Suv I have ever driven. It will outrun a Mustang GT, and my modified Expedition. This is my wifes vehicle and she likes it because it's very solidly planted to the pavement. With a little persuation you can roast the tires off it and if you catch it in an extreme turn you can get some good sideways action out of it. The only difference when sideways is that this is very predictibale with the AWD. All this plus it looks cool! I only have one other RT in the town that I live in and it's on the opposite side at that. It definately turns heads!

my gf is torn between a "regular" durango that she would like to lift and an r/t. i'd rather she get the r/t. i'm a performance junkie. i currently own a 98 cobra. and have owned 4 other cars....all stangs.

Get the R/T the 360 has more potential, you can even make a nice stroker out of it if you want! I know guys getting 500hp and up with 360's or 5.9 if you prefer
