Default Pics of where P0440 is at

My parents have a 02 durango slt plus 4x4. Well the P0440 keeps coming on and i looked and didn't see a problem. so does anybody have any pics of where the hoses are cracked? Thanks.

P-0440 evaporative emission control system malfunction..
Try removing the gas cap and put it back on with a full 3 clicks.

Also check the hoses to the charcoal cannister-my 99 d has it in the driverside in front of the gas tank=you my need to remove the transfer case skid plate=try the gas cap first and reset the code=if there's an AUTOZONE car parts place nearby they can reset it or the old remove negative battery post for 20mins.

And don't topoff the gas tank=sometimes liquid gas gets in toi the cannister and throws the an emmision evaporative system trouble code=my girl's lexus rx300 did that=fill till the pump stops.

I've cleared it at school (Going to collage to be an auto mechanic). I've done the gas tank thing so i'm guessing my problem now is the charcoal cannister i take it.

Get up under the D and look at the lines near the canister back by the fuel tank. Any cracks or weathering? If so, replace hose(s), reset code and that should take care of it.
