Carlisle is the weekend after 4th of July, usually around the 9th-11th.
I thought long and hard about the ports. They are cut in and fully functional. Had them well before the stick on junk from AutoZone made its way onto every JC Whitney Wannabe Cruiser.
I looked at many ports looking for function and ones that fit. This was it. Cadillac was just starting to add them to each of their vehicles at the time.
Do I still like it? Yes. The hint of chrome there works on my D and it does give it a little something something.
With all that said, would I do it again? No.

Carlisle 2011 Fri-Sun July 8-10 Carlisle Fairgrounds, Carlisle, PA...Look for separate thread to start soon. $40 for showfield admission all three days.... or $10 per day plus parking.... If you own a D and can handle companionship, friendship, showing off the D, the heat, good food, and a good time checking out the D.O.C. family, and ogling all kinds of classic and modern Mopar products, up close at your leisure then sign up. It is well worth it, especially since you are local. I made it from Minneapolis last year and one of the D.O.C. family made it from California and traded in his transmission and his frequent flyer miles and transmission in the process. A good time for all....well worth the $40

Most likely i'll just be going one day for a few hours... just wanna have the chance to meet a few of the members here that have been helping me along my quest to owning a D... i will keep an eye out for a thread and i hope to see all of you there..
