Compression test the cylinderif it low= below 100,then do a leak down test= also check to make sure first that you actually have spark going to the cylinder=no spark pull the distibutor cap and check that and check the spark plug wire with an ohm meter for continuity.

Could be cap and rotor needs replaced. I like the Auto Zone brass connection upgrade for $2 more.

Also there is a TSB on plug wires that touch the engine and can burn through. Make sure you route the plug wires so they don't touch the motor or ground out. Check that wire thats missing. Also you can wait tell dark and get a spray bottle place it on fine mist and mist the wires and the bad one sould arch.

Get OEM wires if needed.

Champion plugs only and no platinum plugs.

No engine codes?????

x2 could be wires. Easy fix and needs to be done every once in a while.

Using any oil?

Flooded? How do you know it was flooded? If your wires checkout= compression test the bad cylinder=If you need to find the miss=remove each plug wire till you find lil or no change in the idle of the truck with that plug wire off. Then compression test that cylinder=below 100=valve hung up, burnt, pushrod bent, lifter bleeding out, rocker loose or toasted,or rings are gone. What is the mileage on the engine?
