i accedentally posted this in the "new members" forum - not getting much luck there.
i'm buying an R/T and was looking for input on cat-back systems. any help would be appreciated.....

 

I have been inquiring about it too, not in these threads but at actual muffler shops and my understanding is that the exhaust that is on the R/T is just about as good as any cat back system out there. It has 3 inch pipes what more do you need and well I have a 2003 also and it sounds very nice. If your reasoning is for fuel economy forget it unless you go complete headers and duals all the way back and get rid of the cats LOL...then your screwed for emissions. But for sound the original is nice I find. My neighbour tells me it sounds like a thunderstorm when I fire it up, from inside her house. She is right, Ihad my wife do it when backed in, sounds nice.
