Default 2002 Dodge Durango and Siruis Radio

Just got Siruis radio for the long commute I have and want to hard wire it to my existing factory radio. Currently using the wireless transmittor in the Siruis unit, but there is a little static sometimes. Therefore I want to conect the siruis unit directly to the factory radio. I have an SLT with the standard CD and tape radio. Does anyone know if there is an Aux audio port (3.5mm plug) in the back of the radio? I was thinking there might be since Ive seen other factory durangos with CD changers connected to them?

Thanks

Default RE: 2002 Dodge Durango and Siruis Radio

I have an 02 D and installed a DVD system. I initally used the FM modulator to send the audio from the DVD to the car stereo, but like you said it has some static.

I found this site http://www.pie.net where I bought a cable that plugs into the back of my head unit (into the CD changer port) and on the other side it is RCA jacks.

Now my DVD system is actually coming into my stereo trought the CD changer port and I have great sound.

Give it a try.
