Default 01 Durango Cabin Filter?

Hi all... A quick Q.. Does the 01 Durango have a cabin air filter? I ask because the inside of the car is making a new hissing sound, like air is trying to come in but isn't, or something's happening... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Check the incoming wire grommets from the fire wall into the cab. Sometimes if someone messes they can leave a hole with them or one can fall out.

Take off the dash overlay and remove the AC control panel. Look to see if all the vac lines are still attached. It is an array of very colorful hoses. If you haven't seen it before, you will be surprised.

Not for a Gen1. Just change/clean the intake for better engine air. Nothing for the cabin air.

I am shocked, nee appaled that with all the knowledge we have on this forum, some mechanical, some engineering, electrical and with forum members with various backgrounds including simple mechanical skills. I would think that with all the knowledge available one of us could figure out a place to mount a cabin air filter. I know that they usually come in under the wiper arm housing. What about a simple installation like that. Maybe just add a regular air filter in there would that work?
