Default I put a FASTMAN SIMM on my 99, is it alright

I cut out the cat on my 99 durango, welded in a straight pipe and added a fastman simm for the post o2. I keep throwing a p1495 leak detection pump code. I can't find a leak in the evaporative system but I am not sure if I am checking the whole system. Could this leak be in the exhaust? Maybe at the crankcase filter? If it still throws the code should I go ahead and change the plugs and wires or will they get ruined from the truck running in safe mode? Should I just replace the ldp? This seems to be turning into a nightmare.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
