The electric fan? The clutch fan should usually always be on. The electric is a secondary only and comes on when an over heat situation of 210+ occurs or ANYTIME the AC is running. Turn the AC on and see if the electric fan is coming on. Don't expect it to be on otherwise.

The electric fan doesnt come on at all. I hooked it up to an alternate power source and it still doesnt come on do u think the fan motor burned out it has 140 thousand miles on it.

200,700+ on mine and it still runs. Not to many posts (ever) on failed elec stocker fans. Always possible.

If you know it is not coming on via the AC, then it's gone. Replace for sure.

Like I said, after 10 years of DAILY Durango web surfing, "not to many posts (ever) on failed stock elec stocker fans."

Glad you found the problem! Still not many failed elec stocker fans!!

I had eliminated the wiring. His standard and aux must have both been loose.
