are you talking about that plastic piece that gets in the way of getting the oil filter off, with that little tiny round hole in it (exactly the diameter of the filter)???? bc i would call that a SPLASH gaurd not a skid plate, if you hit a rock/tree stump with that its just gonna tear right off or apart

Nah, mine is pure metal... It's a heavy bitch... Unless it's a new type of plastic! LOL!

ok i guess they changed it then for the later model years bc all i have underneath is a plastic splash guard fromthe front bumper back to maybe the front axle and NOTHING else another reason why i dont take it off road

I'm thinkin the large motors had em but the 4.7L doesn't?????


Ok??????

Went and looked under the truck and I thought I had one under the T-case but it isn't there now. Schusterjo<----- Do you have one under the T-case or just the large one on the cross member just in front?
