Default Durango AC issues

Hi iam new here and having ac issues on my 2003 durango.it was working when i went into the store,but when i came back out and started it up the ac is blowing hot.when we tried to put 134 in it would not take it,and the line Froze up.

Is it okay now?

Don't run the AC on max without the fan on in either of the top two speed positions.

If it unfroze (which it will when you turn off the D) then you need to add freon. While you can add a can to see if that helps, if it needs more than that, go have it refilled professionally.

Was looking into it today,and all the rear's are blowing cold air but the front vent's are not.what now anyhelp thanks jason.

if your rear is working and your front is not then you have a dash issue, its not allowing the airflow valve to switch correctly..

Low freon.

Just needs pulled down and recharged based on the info we have so far.

Think we have found what is going on,waiting for the part to get here and will post up what it was.

Yes the Expansion Valve was bad,see all good now.

Wouldn't the valve had shown up during a routine recharge?
