Default Idle Issues??? Help!!!

I have a 99 Durango Slt, 5.2L 4x4. I do not run it daily, it has 110,00 miles on it and recently I have had a problem with it not wanting to idle at all.

it runs like a champ as long as you have your foot on the gas ever so slightly. if you remove your foot it stalls? however it will fire right back up and run fine as long as its getting a little pedal?

Any Ideas before i start spending money blindly? it has newer plugs, wires, cap and rotor. is there an idle adjusment? maybe a computer issue?

any help is really appreciated !! Thanks!!

change out the IAC motor, its the little motor on the back of the throttle body, they stop functioning properly and the truck wont idle right of at all. They can SOMETIMES be cleaned but for the cost of them its better off to just replace it, that is the most likely candidate for a solution

Yup!

Clean the throttle body and IAC out with a brake cleaner or fuel injector/carb cleaner really good. If it persists then replace the IAC like Sharp says. Remember to reset the PCM.

Low idle stumble... ESPECIALLY at start up... is usually a bad battery. Believe it or not.

cleaned the throttle body and IAC, worked like a charm!! Thanks fellas for the great answers. I will probably replace the IAC rather than worry about it in the fuure.
