I was originally going to say MESH but after that story of Kensai and the snow, it got me a little freaked. I am moving to Minneapolis and will expect snow and cold there. Cosmetically I like the mesh, but for function I might have to go with the billet, and horizontal. I do like the black or maybe painted frame though. Tommy, what about mesh but take the Le-Bra off for the winter?

You should go with the original OEM bra if they still sell them. The only difference is the OEm bra does not mesh, but does have the cut outs for fog lights.

I think Lebra, you can buy one without the mesh. Then you can purchase a mesh to fit behind the grille and is easily removable to clean or not use in terms when you are going thru heavy snow storms.

Hey, maybe you can find a mesh that has something like background heating to keep snow/ice from building up on the mesh? haha Kinda same function as our side mirrors that are heated to prevent ice buildup.

Just do it without the mesh on the bra and you should be fine.

I've seen that and done right it isn't bad. Unless you tell someone, they wouldn't even know.

Using Gutter Guard and making your own inserts is also an option used often.
