Default Dumped Exhaust

Will it effect the performance (in a bad way) if I dump the exhaust pipe after my Flowmaster with a short 45 degree pipe? Or is it better to run it out the side or back?

I've seen discussions on back pressure, torque, performance issues, etc. caused by the length of the pipe after the muffler, but have never really found an answer.

Others say it will cause a drone in the car at higher speeds. Will it really in a 5" lifted D with 33" tires? Seems a little high off the ground to cause that. The only other concern may be exhaust gases?

Fine to dump ater the muffler.

Yes and yes.

The exhaust should be dumped away from the cab for drone. With health reasons you should exit exhaust out but each to their own.

Same instance here stance wise. You will have interior drone and exhaust gasses unless ya dump it out the side...
