Default I may be leaving you guys but want a little info about Jeeps

Can anyone tell me if this is a YJ or a TJ? It looks like it has leafs up front which would suggest YJ, but the wheels look like they could be TJ?

But, I just wanted to get something with a straight axle and a good reputation for offroading... I don't need all the fancy power everything etc so out goes the D and in comes this D... Just hope it's a YJ... I CAN tell you it has the 4.0L since it is a Sahara but unsure of transmission...

Yeah, I think the leaf springs make it a YJ. The TJs are actually better offroad. The leaf spring limit front wheel articulation.

Neo, We are disappointed to see you go, but as Hydra said you are always welcome back. Good luck in your future endeavours. Not trying to get too personal but are you leaving for change of vehicle? You put some good photos on the threads, I wish I was that handy with the photos, eventually though........

Off the Record: Are you leaving for something that Hydra said? LOL!!!!

Again, in all seriousness, good luck and keep the profile, maybe login occasionally for a guest speaker/consultant. LOL!!

Steve

Hahaha, yeah I am sure I'll make some visits... I also will be keeping my service manuals, so feel free to ask any technical questions! LOL! I love the D and will probably get another once I am out of the off road phase... I am never really pleased with vehicles until I realize they are gone... Then I miss them... Which is every 6 months or so, LOL!
