How do you check the level in the front diff. 2000 4.7 4wd durango

 

On the front of the axel about 3/4 the way up is a black rubber stopper. You pull it out and stick your finger in the whole and feel strait down. The fluid should be just below the opening whole.

80W-90 is the lubricant needed for the front end. I suggest Fully Synthetic only.
