Pull the plug in question, snap the plug wire back on the removed plug. Position the plug somewere you can see it and make sure it's grounded to the engine. Have an assistant start the engine so you can observe with out touching the plug to see it is sparking outside of the head.

If it sparks, then look too a mechanical issue. If it does not spark then remove the plug and plug wire and replace them with the proper plug and plug wire and test again.

I've seen engines not even start because of the plugs so I am completly against that analogy.

1. I say pull the plugs and use what I told ya.
2. Use OEM wires.
3. Cap and Rotor. I like the ones from Auto Zone with upgraded brass contacts.

Those Piece Of **** (POS) plugs don't work in our rigs!


Right now the only thing I see is you wanting to rip apart a motor over a few spark plugs and a tune up, but do what you will.
