Default MSD 6A or 6AL ignition

Anyone running a MSD 6A or 6AL ignition in your Durango 5.9L?
Can you upgrade the ignition in a Durango or does it screw up the tempermental PCM/ECM?

I have a '99 Durango 5.9 and want to upgrade the coil, ignition, & wires. i see some of you mixing Accel & MSD parts. What works best?

If you go on the MSD site, you can plug in a '99 Dakota 5.9, but no Durango listings. Wouldn't they be he same as far as the ignition, tach adapter, wires, etc???

I have a brand new one, never installed, because of that very same fear.

I have read it's okay and I have read it's a killer. Most who loose the PCM dont realize it was the MSD that did it. However a pic of the engine bay and volia, there's the MSD next to their pictures of their trashed PCM.

I've had my Msd for 5 years and never had a pcm problem. I'm running a flashed pcm I got done through fastman and I still have the factory pcm as a spare.
