Default 2003 Durango SXT makes woo woo sound

Bought my dodge a few years back and it has always made this woo woo sound when making a slow turn, like into a parking space, or going around in a slow circle the sound is comming from the rear end. No sound when going straight .
And no its not a train comming (lol)
Any one have this woo woo problem?

Short of you having Bubb Rubb in the back of your D, or a whistle tip.. (see below for both ) Odd that it only does it when turning. Are you sure it comes from the rear? maybe have someone drive around you slowing in circles while your out of the truck.. might help pinpoint the sound.

WOO WOO!!

Could be anything from tires/diff fluid - wrong fluid-no friction lube / wheel bearing. Its a toughy but make sure its coming from the rear first..

LOL, no thats not the woo woo I'm hearing LOL!

I sure its comming from the rear, I just replaced the speed/ABS sensor on the rear axel. the thing was completly destroyed, I must have pulled about 3ft of copper with a small magenet attached, some of the plastic housing fell into the case but figure the gears will chew that up in no time (I hope)!
Took it for a test drive and made a small circle and no
Woo Woo ?????
Thanks for the replys and 408 that's a great looking D...

Thanks for the compliment

But back on topic... Was that sensor destroyed before removal, or during?

Im going to say your going to have to do some investigating and pop open the diff cover.........................................
Have a spare gasket/fluid first though

Better safe then sorry, axles are not cheap...

^ I totally agree ^

You need to get it out of there and it's not hard to pull the cover.
