Power lock and window help
I apologize in advance if this has been answered somewhere but I could not locate it if it had.
I have a 99 Durango SLT and none of the power windows are working. In fact the only "switch" that does work is the power lock switch on the passenger door. None of the switches work on the drivers door console. The other day I noticed that ONLY the drivers console would work the windows, except the left rear which would not work at all. The lock-out button was and is "open". All of a sudden yesterday nothing works. The drivers console does not work at all, not even the power lock switch.
I have heard that if the drivers console goes bad or malfunctions then it can throw everything else off and I am willing to bet that is the issue.
Has anyone had this issue and/or heard of it? Any help would be great!!!

Well no direct answer but here is a PDF you can download.. It is the service manual for the Durango and includes trouble shooting/diagnostics for power windows and locks.
Hard to say what exactly going on without doing the diags..

if it ask for a password it will be

or

No problem, thanks for joing the forum and have a great time here.
Seeing how you just rebuilt the transmission (^as said in your post^) did you install a Transgo Shift Kit while you were there and if not I will definatly recomend it. If you install it durring a pan drop/fluid/filter/adjustment it's cheap and easy.

I did not actually do the trans work myself and a Transgo was not installed. I am pretty good with working on vehicles but there are certain things that I will not touch. Be it too complicated or too time consuming i will seek out a shop to do it for me. When it comes to trans jobs...I don't go there.....things of that nature are very fine tuned and I would rather someone who does it day in and day out work on my trans.
