Ok, thanks again for the info guys. I was just wondering b/c when I went to get the belltech 6400's from summit a message popped up that they "highly recommend" the shim set but I had never seen that even mentioned on any of these posts so I thought I would ask you guys b/c you've actually done this stuff already. Ok, thanx again!

Nah i tow alot with my rig. My D is pretty much an enclosed p/u for now (no rear seats/ interior) so its a work horse. Stuffing 20 bags of cement/sand in the back can really down the stance and make it a lil floppy so i purchased a cheapy bolt on kit that helps with 500+ or so lbs. Thanks for the comments!

Ah, yes the durango work truck! I think we've all been there! Yeah I guess 20 bags of concrete would make it squat pretty good. My top leaf is pretty sagged out which comes from exceeding the towing limits so I'm gonna get the 1,000 lb. helper spring to see if that brings the top leaf back to life a little bit.

This is why I added the air bags on my ride.

8900+ with E-brakes, dont have a tongue weight but when ever i exceed capacity i try using a tandem trailer... I wouldnt recomend it to anyone though, you gotta keep good eye/maint on the trans heat/fluid/operation.

?
You can, aslong as they are within their suspension travel. If the travel exceeds the bags with the T/S all you would need to do is raise your axle mount.

Ok I know this is an ancient thread but I've been fretting over my leafs since doing the t/s lift. The front frowns alot, is this normal? Or better yet is this what duranged is talking about. Please advise, also how is towing with the t/s lift. I tend to exceed the limit like duranged mentioned earlier. Thanks for any replies.
