Default Max 1st Gen tire size, 4.5" lift

I have a 1998 Sebring, a 2000 CIrrus, and a 2007 Ram 1500 2wd.
When it comes to sport ute's, I have to admit I am a major Ford Explorer fan ( Have had 2 Eddie Bauer 4x4's in the past).
However, just the other day I came across a 1999 Durango ( 5.2L v-8 4x4) that is bone stock. Had an unbelieavably good price on it! But I do not know much about Durango's. My question is this: Will 1.5" suspension lift ( tweaking front & rear shackle lift ) plus a 3" body lift clear 33X12.50X15 M/T's on 15X8 rims? Does anyone have this setup on ther rig? If so, can you post a pic or two, or give me a link so I can see it.

33X12.50's on Explorers is no problem. But like I said, I was not sure about the Durangos.

Also, did they ever build a 3.9 Magnum V-6 4x4 Durango?

Thanks for the help & photos !!

Yes they built the 3.9 in 1998 and 1999 and was replaced by the 4.7L in 2000.

With 3" body and 2" shackle they should fit depending on the rims.

I have seen photo evidence of only one v-6 D ever. You have to think they made more than one... but the made very few and even fewer survive today.

33x12.50x15 on 15x10 offset, i only ran into a few mods to the front fender. BFH or some surg will work her over fine.. There may be a possibility of touching the frame also, but adjusting the stops can solve that issue if so (not sure since my rims are offset and didnt run into that..just giving worst case scenerios)

No problem.

The pic's have been in the post the whole time...... Not sure why their not showin?

As for the pinion set, I did notice that there off a little so maybe a 2 degree could be used.

Can we get some close up shots of shackles that are installed?

Remember gents.. Durango's have that fancy S bent leafs... So the belltech barely adjusts any pinion angle, but anywho even going an inch further the pinion angle is fine with the slip yolk... I dont have any newer pcs of the rear but if i get some time i'll snap one for ya...
