Default Ball joints???

Just went to Dodge.com to see about the recall I'm hearing about....entered in the last 8 VIN #'s and this is what came up.

Does this mean my truck isnt one of the problem trucks....or that there's no record of my truck ever being serviced?

VIN Number:
1B4HS28N8 1F50XXXXX Vehicle Description:
DODGE DURANGO 4X4 SPORT UTILITY 4-DR Model Year:
2001

No Incomplete Recalls or Customer Satisfaction Notifications Exist

It means your ball joints have already been replaced at some point in the past. If I were you I'd call your local dealership and check with the service department to verify.

My 2001 is the same as yours and mine was part of the recall.

Does your oil gauge peak to the high normal position when running the engine? When idling it's fine, but driving it's at the peak of normal.

Thanks

Mine when warmed up is normally at about the 3/4 mark driving. High oil pressure is not a problem, low pressure is......
