Default Trunk space?

So I'll be moving soon and apparently someone in my bf's family has a durango we can borrow since we have a compact car that can't carry much.

Just wondering...What's the trunk space like?
Would I be able to carry a loveseat in the back?Would I be able to fit a mattress in the back or strap it to the roof?...or should I just rent out a uhaul?

rent a uhaul or if the Durango has a trailer hitch rent a uhual trailer. There is room in the back but I don't think you would be able to fit the items in that you mentioned, defiantly without possible scratching the durango and or furniture.

Uhaul trailer that stuff. The Durango has the power but the interior cargo space is limited.

+1 ur best bet is a uhaul trailer most furniture is too tall to fit in the back of the Durango but it will have 0 troubles pulling the trailer

I've moved a few times. I can tell you I fit alot of stuff into my D. Butu you need to fold all the back seast dow. I fit two twin mattresses back there. A dismantled cribplus baby mattress, LOTS of kids toys...LOL..., a three drawer dresser (twice), and more stuff that I don't remember!...LOL... Basically, you have 6'Lx3'Wx3'H of space to fit things in. Be VERY careful of the rear glass!!! If you put anything hard and sharp against it, PLEASE USE PADDING!!! I learned by experience . Get a uhaul or trailer for big stuff and leave the smaller soft stuff for the D. HTH.

Measure the height of the couch, measure the rear of the dango (hatch open-secure shackles to top trim). Ive fit similiar things in my D, and they do carry alot of cargo....
