Dash light
Ok I've seen this in here a couple of time but never really got the answer to fix . I have an 01 Durango and the light in the dash board won't light up. So when im driving at night i can't see how fast im going . I've tried the switch on the left side of the steering wheel no luck . I think it might be a 20 amp fuse but im not sure . Going to try that today . Has anyone had to replace the bulb yet . And is it hard to take apart the dash board to get to it . Any help will be appreciated .

There is more than one bulb so I'm thinking a fuse dude. The cluster comes right out but is attached by the linkage from the gear selector.
Take off the outer dash (pull off). Unscrew the insterment cluster (a couple of screws around the outside). Pull the cluster straight out and it unplugs from the dash. On the right lower side is the linkage but you have enough room. Still though, it's most likely a fuse so look in the fuse panel inside the truck on the drivers side for any burns.
