I'll keep you guys posted. I generally drive the D more responsibly now cause of my three y.o and pregnant wife...LOL... Sp no speeding!...LOL...

The gold pads kick **** with very low brake dust in fact lower than ceramic pads here and they work great for towing. No problem here!


As for the rotors, not to sure because I've never tried em but I think the main problems are people don't know what their doing in the first place.

Okay, so it's been over a month now since the brake/rotor install. They're holding up very well. Pads are nicely seated and doing their job. No warpage whatsoever from the rotors. Had heavy stop and go traffic on the highway in the middle of the day temps in the 90s and they worked out very well. So far so good.

Unfortunately, it only takes one emergency stop to add enough heat to warp cheap rotors. Good rotors can take sudden/extreme heat over and over and nothing seems wrong... because nothing is wrong. That's the big difference.

Don't count your blessings just yet.
