Default P0753

My 99 durango check engine light came on today and the P0753 code pops up and now my durango has no acceleration and loss of power. any ideas on what could fix this problem should i replace the PCM or is something else causing this?

P0753 is a 3/4 shift solenoid code or transmiision relay. Lack of power maybe because the trans is limp in/fail safe. Transmission maybe starting off in 3rd gear.

Replace the solenoid and fluid/filter and adjust the transmission. 4.7L's you cannot adjust the transmissions. Make sure you only use ATF+4 in these transmissions. Do not power flush the trans as this can cause seals to leak and blow the transmissions. In here there is DIY that will show you how to do it: Do It Yourself (top questions and answers) FAQ's
