You can always take it to a shop and for like $30 get a 120 point inspection before you buy it.

thanks for the great input. really appreciate it. i would take it to a shop to get it inspected but i got a mechanic freind that will just come with me lol. thanks for the help again guys

Not a real fair comparison of the 99 to a 03. MANY items were updated in the 2000 model year and MANY more were updated in the 2001. The 2003 is the latest in engineer Gen1 D-dom. From electrical, to seals, to shocks, to brakes, to interior, etc.

Get the 03 if it is priced right, clean and has the maintenance records. You'll be set.

This is NADA which is what banks use to find out the true value of the truck.



If it were me I'd knock him down to about $6000. to $6900.

i was thinking i could get him down to the 5k range, because the ad has been on there a while. how much can the 4.7 tow? i have nothing to tow but my mom has a 29 foor trailer that weighs 6200 lbs, i can use it whenever i want.
