Hey Folks,
Just signed the papers for a 1998 Durango w/ 60K on it! Answer to prayers, that's for sure. Just wondering if anyone has any advice for maintainece I should do or any problems I should look for? I've been a Dodge man since I was 18 and had one help save my life (long story), but never had a Durango or a 360ci. I've heard of problems from the rear axle at 70-80K? Any truth to that rumor? Driven it for a day and am ready for some good miles with my new rig!

Have them check out the ball joints for you. I bought a 99 D with 58,800 miles on it at the end of December 04 and attempted to get it inspected today. All 4 ball joints failed. I will post a new thread about this as I am disgusted. I cannot believe the Dealership didn't replace them just 1100 miles ago when I bought it. From what I can tell the ball joints are pretty crapy on Durangos.
