Default Mopar Luggage carrier

Ok... this is going to sound out of place but I need to put it to you guys on this site. I just recently was given a Mopar luggage carrier for my 2003 Durango. I have all the parts but I cannot for the life of me figure out how this thing attaches to the bars. There is one strap that has 6 female connectors on it and I have 6 seperate male connectors but clueless as to what I need to do. Any ideas?

Here are a few pictures.......makes no sense to me. Only 4 loops on the bag itself but the straps are for 6.And the male ends are not attached???

The big piece sits on the roof, the straps go over the rails on the front and rear while the center just snugs on the bag. Straps obviously connect to the bigger piece using the standard gearing connection found on backpacks, etc everywhere today.

Doesn't look difficult. I would have suggested a solid carrier instead of the bag, but that's just me.

It did not cost me one single cent "FREE". A gift from a co-worker who use to own a 2000 Durango. The puzzle to me is how to attach the male straps to the female ones once I have the bag on the roof. I know the bag goes between the rails and I know the connected straps go across the bag. The question is how to attach the 6 male straps to the female ones and have it secured.

Seems to me that you may be missing some pieces. Like the ones that help keep the male straps connected to the rails. Maybe they just tie down to the rails. The top and bottom female straps go through the loops on the bag and are connected to the secured male straps. The middle female straps just go over the bag to connect to the rest of the male straps on the rails. JMHO.
