Default 4.7l Durango Headers So Expensive!?!

Why are 4.7 headers for the first gen durango so expensive? I have looked up ones for the 5.9's and the 5.2's and they are no where close to how expensive the 4.7's are. Whats with this?!

Yah I have a good intake system, but more or less I am looking for the sound. And I think the manifolds on the stock 4.7 have smaller exhaust ports then headers. So it will help it breath better.

actually i have heard that the manifolds on the 4.7 from the factory flow pretty good, so thats probably why the headers are so expensive and its really not worth the expense unless you are moving alot of air (have a blower or similar) just my .02

If you want sound, change the muffler not the manifolds.

Unless your P&P, Bored, Bored TB, Intake Manifold, or something of this type of magnitude the OEM manifolds will work just fine.

Ok, sounds good. Did not know if the stock manifolds flew that good. I have already change the muffler and love the sound, cant get any better in my opinion. I was just wondering.
