I have a 2000 Durango SLT 5.9, and need to replace the front bumper. Does anyone know what parts I need to replace specifically the brackets? Thanks!

 

Need two know if you have the 2 piece bumper/lower valance or the 1 piece that is the bumper cover and lower valance all together. Pretty sure that year had both depending what time of year it was made (later part of that year had 1 piece i think)

Think they are the 1 piece in 2000. You do not need to replace any brackets as long as you buy the right bumper as the same piece as you took off.

 

let us know if it is 1 piece or two piece, i would like to know because many searches i do say 2 piece but i know i have seen a 1 piece on a 2000

A 1 piece has a bumper reinforcement bar not that goes behind the front valance cover, where the 2 piece has an actual bumper where the valance is bolted to the bottom of the bumper.
