Default Edelbrock Shorty headers 5.9D

Hi guys I guess being new here has gotten my mind flowing with questions

So about a year ago i bought shorty headers off craigs list in perfect working order (the guy bought them from somewere and they came with no mounting hardware or gaskets)

I belive them to be 6564-0 Black shorty Edelbrocks...
(running to the garage to look at them)
Yep I was right
So I have been looking online for gasket kit + mounting hardware
With little luck as to an EXACT Edelbrock kit, I did however find some
shorty header kits by Mr Gasket think this will work ok?
http://www.jegs.com/i/Mr-Gasket/720/7656G/10002/-1

What length bolts should I get? If I get gasket and bolts seperate (Not in a kit) what length should I get.
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...questid=423860

And any thoughts as to should I wait to install these after exhaust updates? Currently Stock.
Are these headers any good?
I got them for 35.00

Thanks again guys for any info or input

Well if you don't want them I'll take em!

Look here at www.rockauto.com for bolts and you can always email edelbrock.com "support" for the right hardware.

You really don't need the headers unless you do an intake system including true CIA, Ported TB, P&P heads, Intake manifold, and exhaust work.

With all the mods I have I can still use the OEM manifolds without a problem and I have all of it. Next set of mods will be shorties and more custom tune but other than that you really don't need em.

I agree with Hydrashocker in that unless you do more modifications for the airflow it will not be noticeable. Now at $35.00 a pop it can not be a waste off money compared to a new set at $600.00 to $800.00,
